10 HOURS PROJECT
Highlighting the tight time constraints of modern commercial creative practice, I created a series of new painted portraits in exactly 10 hours each. Working from my own photography of young adults, I aim to create an arresting juxtaposition of realism and expressionistic abstract painting effects. Accompanying each artwork was a time-lapse video revealing the evolution of their creation, offering a fascinating insight into my painting process.
The exhibition took place in Rechabites Hall as part of the 2011 Northbridge Outskirts festival.
